ever had a accident?

mabey you had injurys or your bike was ruined.have pics? or just want to tell your story....go ahead!

Well I am lucky enough to still not have crashed my bike...however, you know what they say. There are riders who have crashed and riders who have yet to crash. Everyone does eventually. However, I have taken two spills that don't really count as a crash. Before I had restored my bike, I was riding up in my favorite spot and I was filming myself. I went to turn around at like 5mph and my front tire locked up and I did a combat roll off the bike on the pavement. My bike luckily didn't even fall-it just ended up meandering into a small hill on the side of the road like 2 feet from where I fell. There was no damage to the bike but I still ended up with a sprained wrist. Anyways second time was right after I finished my bike. I was leaving my friend's house at night and gunned it while taking off from a stop sign. I had a bald tire at the time and the bike looped out from under me. I spun out on the bike but luckily I caught it before it hit the ground all the way. It still managed to scratch the crap out of my new paint on the right side by what I think is the little hump that covers the clutch. I repaired it since but you can still tell the scratches are there.

ahaha you did a combat roll gotta love it man! yeah thats good though sounds like you got lucky on a bald tire, my story lies a few months ago when i was ready to store the bike for winter as i was putting her away i noticed the bike could use a polish before it gets stored , after that i was ready to put some wheel shiner or armer all on the tires, so they woulden't get tire rot, at over below 0 temps (well mabey not in the garage? ) anyways i was done, it was getting really cold for i while and i was sure i was done for the season, i was wrong! after about a half a month we got a 60 degree temp day ! even though the battery was stored allready and everything else. i couldn't miss this one chance!! forgetting all about cleaning my bike cause i wanted to ride i slaped the battery in and went! also i had to try my new exhaust for the first time the bike was so nice! and i felt the power of the slip on alot i went to go through a turn and i was down really far kneesliding ( see sportbike tips ) and i was like hey wow never been this far and there it was i was doing about 25 mph , being a major retard i had forgott about greasing the tires with armor all and slid all across my street about 20 25 feet i also got pretty badly cut on my arms and legs from the rough stoned pavement leading into some big scars i still have, i was in no time to think about me? cause i love my bike! i raced over to it and picked it up checked for damage there was a little crack on the dash board side i wouldn't have been able to tell, only becase it was pushed in on the turn signal (its fixed now ) and a scuff ( scuff mind you ) on the left side tail and some scratches on the stock pipe oh thank the lord for that THE STOCK PIPE anyways thats it 25mph isn't fast really put for a bike tumbling that speed it is, i got worsly hurt then the bike did by far, cause i had no leathers im sure! stupid me..!! all from a oiled tire i forgott about.

Dude that's crazy! Hah man that sucks you forgot about oiling your tire! Good thing you didn't get seriously injured! I'm like you when I fall I care more about the bike. I mean, your body heals itself, the bike doesn't! You and your knee dragging

hell yeah man! thats the way its allways been bike comes first! hahah but yeah i was sertainly dragging my knee that day

Ah, well I was sitting at a stop sign with some sand under me that I didn't see (DOH!). There was one car to the left and one to the right, and being the impatient asshole that I am, I gunned it to get in front of the car to the right. Needless to say the sand won. No damage done to my bike though, cuz I ain't got no fairings!

thats cool man i role with out farings too! when i fell, there wasn't any real damage, besides a little paint scratch and a small crack that you can't even see anymore next to the front signal

Hah Iroquois you got lucky on that one! Yeah sand is my worst enemy man I'm paranoid about it. It doesn't help if you have a bald tire too. I ride up in the mountains a lot and you really gotta watch out up there cause there is gravel and sand and sometimes rocks on the road.

I almost fell while getting ready to make my Wickenburg video I posted on youtube around New Years. Stopped in a bad place on a mountain road.

speaking of tires, ha i just found out the other day i have a front tire for my cbr thats in decent shape on my extra rim, and the one on my bike is in good shape now too, just gotta get my rear on! its the perelli daiblo corsa it has really deep tread so it should last long! anyways guys glad most didn't get into accidents, when i was riding around on a bald tire it sucked!

Dude that's sweet about your tire(s) man. I've never really noticed if the front tire wears out at all. I think it would just get old before it wore out ya know? Cause it's not like it's under any stress. You still haven't mounted that Pirelli??? Man you're lagging! Lol jk.

Hah Z magic I just watched your video where you "race the train" in phoenix. Thanks for the plugs for the forum man! We want as many members as we can get so in the future we can organize rides and stuff!

yeah your right the fronts like never get worn down unless your doing constant stoppies and yeah im just gonna hold off mounting the rear tire when the spring hits.. oops how could i forgett yeah any advertising is sweet guys thanks a lot zmagic! i'll have to watch your movie and thanks to jetsream for advertising in his movies as well!
