2009 Ducati 1198. Gotta say, Ducati makes the best looking bikes. That's just my opinion tho. Love that single sided swingarm. BTW I got to sit on and start and rev up a Ducati 1098 a few months back...gotta say, I fell in love with that bike and it's sound!

good taste in ducati's the 1098 happens to be one of my favorite ducatis and yes there styling kicks ass and yes the single sided swing arms are awesome as well!! i love the 1098 in white or black! that and the 996 i love as far as the sound goes they sound pretty mean!! however i kinda like how the inline four cylinders on motorcyles a little more but i would love to sit on one are they nice and comfy?

Yeah I gotta say I love the 996 as well. I prefer the sound of v-twins myself, but it's a very close margin over the 4 cylinders, cause they sound great too. To answer your question, NO the Ducati was horribly uncomfortable! I guess because it is meant for racing, not comfort. Whatever I would still buy it!

aww really.....i'd still buy one too Razz but like if you look at there seat they have like that curve in it, that looks like it would shape right around the butt oh well it still is a awesome and fast bike the 1198 has 180 hp and the 1098 has 170 i think? anyways great bikes

PostSubject: 09 ninja zx10r   Fri Feb 20, 2009 11:40 am

recently kawasaki released there new zx10r with slightly changed body work, i never really approved of there designs in my opinion of the later years, and the oddly shaped exhaust pipe, turned me off, and i certainly did not like the previous years ,mabey the more i look at the bike the more i like it, but it will always have that second stare for me?..what do you guys think.

Yeah Ducati's have INSANE horsepower. The only thing that was comparable in it's day was the Honda RC51 (the bike I always rave that I want to get next). Oddly enough, I do like the styling of the yamahas the best out of the new bikes. Also, I wasn't a fan at all of Kawi's designs until these later years...and I agree the pipe looks really stupid but that's an easy fix! I like the Kawi besides that.
