| so I'm on my way to work today at around 3:00 i pull out of my complex and see a bright red bmw m3 i pull out and hes about 100 feet away from me, i get a red light. after waiting 10 seconds or so he starts revving his engine.....i laughed to myself a little and brought it up to 10 grand the hole time I'm watching him through my mirrors and see his face nod up and down after i revved my bike. so the light turns green and we are both taking a left, hes getting closer on my ass through the turn and i gun it and pretty much leave him in the dust like every other idiot that thinks he has a chance. so he ended up taking a left into the target department store. and i kept going it was fun don't get me wrong, but its gonna take a really powerful car to stand a chance. it was wierd to the guy had a siute on and looked all casual like hes off to pick up his children from summer camp or something....oh yeah this is exactly what the car looked like. | |

| Cool but lets see you get that bike as sideways as the car in the pic. I had two kids in hondas one civic hatch and another in a integra pull up on either side of me on 104 today. They were dropping gears and pulling like they wanted to race. I just opened her up with out changing gear. I finally let up at about 90 or so (my speedo doesn't go that high) and they were long gone. | |

| Hey you know what's funny? I had a beamer try to race me too the other day! I was just going around him in town and he got all worked up and gunned it. I was in second and just cruising and I didn't even bother shifting down to race him. I just gunned it and was up to like a hundred when I passed him and left him embarrassed at the next stop light. He wouldn't even pull up next to me and thechamp2987. You're right cbr-rider why do people in cars think they can race bikes?? There is no comparison. You have to have a lingnefelter corvette or hennessy viper to beat even our 90's sportbikes. It's pretty cool knowing that practically no one can beat you when you're riding around huh?? Except maybe other bikes lol but usually you are automatically friends with them so it doesn't matter. | |

| Yeah I know man even a cheap slow bike is still faster than most expensive cars. Assuming you are referring to the repairs after it got knocked over I finished those a long time ago. I still haven't got new levers but I don't really NEED them it's just the clutch lever is bent a little. Man I've seen some of the R6s that redline at like 16000! That's just crazy. | |
