| totally noticed that as well i love the look of the cross bars on ducatis or "skeleton" frame design!.....and are bikes frame is called an "steel twin spar frame" i know the yamaha r1's frame is called the delta box two frame which is a consistant frame now days, for its popularity, anyways even though are bikes have steel frames, there still lighter than most bikes nowadays! cause are fame has only a selected amount of parts welded just the tail section and the engine mounts and thats about it.. its pretty simple and light! anyways yeah i have heard about the frames holding liquids ect. very cool if you ask me, oil works double as cooling the frame temp too anyways iwhat i think is awesome is buell frames they hold gasoline in there frames heres a pic..notice how thick and wide the frames are.... http://www.buellxb.com/shop/images/uploads/Frame_Pucks_Buell.jpg

| Yeah i figured you would like that bike! I love the monsters too. They look great man. You ever notice how much different Ducati frames are than other sport bikes? They're tube frames instead of....whatever the frame on our bikes is called. Anyways the 1098 and 1198 use the frame as an oil container I think...like you fill the chassis up with oil for the engine! Maybe not but I know there are bikes out there that do that. | |

| well its one of my favorite bikes! see i don't have a favorite bike i could list at least 15 different bikes that i truly think are amazing! anyways they look awesome but they aren't very fast nor do they have anymore than 80 hp but i would still ride one regardless, my favorite parts on them are the frame, and the tail section, oh not to forget the single sided swing arm. | |

| the 1000rr eehhh yeah it does resemble a whale haha if you ask me i like both naked bikes and full fairing bikes, and the bikes in between but really i would rather have another bike from the mid 90s cause they look really good and that's what i grew up seeing the most | |

| Hah yeah that 1000 is not a pretty bike. I like the full fairing look like CBR Rider said. I agree with bottlecape here in saying the 600 is a lot better looking but I still like the older bikes myself. The CBR F4i is the bike I was originally planning on getting, but couldn't afford so I chose to fix up my current bike. Anyone know why Honda quit making the F-series? And the RC51 for that matter? They were great bikes and gave you an alternative to the Race Replicas! | |

| I would take either for free.
Joking aside, the 600 is alot better looking. 1000 really does look like a whale.

| i hate the 1000 it looks heavy and clunky, why not jus though a set of saddle bags and a CB on it and hand them out to the cops.
The 600 is a little cleaner shape and seems lighter, but the pic is really not all that great.

| i totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats what i wanted to hear!! man i think the same thing also i think the early 90s bikes not the 80s bikes had great simple concept designing and at least had a little meat on the fairings! thats what i want to see not to little like the 1000rr and not to much, like the early 80s gsxr bikes the 600rr is a little better but they still have anorexic seats! and fairings....meat its whats for dinner..... | |

| I gotta be honest man I love Hondas to death but I do not like the way their bike designs have been going, and as a result I don't like either of the 2009 models of CBRs. However, since I absolutely hate shorty pipes, I gotta say I like the 600 better. Also, the bikes are getting more and more "naked", and I don't really like that look on a sport bike. As far as streetfighters go, I like those well enough but just not when the bike comes like that you know what I mean? It seems that Honda is taking their design cues from Suzuki and Kawasaki with these 09 bikes, which I don't think is cool at all. They should come up with their own designs as they have always done. | |
