| Ok so I have a good post for this topic. The whole bee thing with my motorcycle has finally come full circle. I was riding with thechamp2987 yesterday in the mountains and cruising at about 50mph and all of the sudden a BEE STINGS ME on the back of the neck!!! What the heck? How did it even get on there? My guess is that because I kept stopping occasionally to wait up for thechamp one probably landed on me and worked it's way up to my neck area and stung me for no reason. Needless to say it hurt and it still hurts and is a little swollen a day later. Stupid bees man can't just leave me and my bike alone. | |

| Hah there you go again with the pictures! Man luckily for me I stopped spending money on my bike (other than maintenance) because I dubbed it "completed" and left it alone...but I know how you feel! I just dumped a lot of money into mine all the time when I was building it and it was so fun. I couldn't wait for UPS to come. | |

| Hah you've been saying that about the pic forever now. You need to just do it already! Well I personally can say that I will never sell my bike. I put way too much time into it, and on top of that there's no point in selling it cause it's not like I'm gonna replace it with another inline 4 bike like a cbr 600rr. I already have a great (one of the best) four cylinders, so I just wanna get one or more of every category like v-twins and stuff ya know? Anyways so yeah I don't wanna sell it. Anyways if you sell yours thats cool but it's like selling your child! It says cbr-rider all over it! | |

| Hah I know exactly what paint you're talking about cause I have to get it for customers all the time. Hey what if you did a paint scheme with the gloss/flat black? Like all gloss black with some flat stripes or something? I've seen a lot of cars and stuff like that I think it would look cool just an idea. Since when are you selling your bike??? | |

| well i went over to home depot yesterday and i saw that the paint was like 5 bucks a can so i said ehh I'll just buy some gloss black, ( 97 cents a can! ) its really shiny and goes on pretty easy there was zero over spray and i did it in the wind! yes I'm stupid. so i did and painted the rear off the bike and it looks way nicer then the half flat and semi gloss panels on it before. anyways its not a permanent decision so maybe I'll still head for the metallic before i sell the bike. however it does look better. besides that, no other mods besides the rear sprocket i bought. now that that thing is broken in it rides a lot better too and the idle is set nice so I'm good. I'll try to through some pics up. | |

| Yeah you know if you just want your bike to look good spray paint looks fine. I only used actual automotive paint cause I was going for that car show finish you know? It didn't come out as good as I wanted but that was because I don't have a paint booth. Look forward to seeing some pictures! Done any mods recently? | |

I can take a picture if you want. BTW nice to talk to you guys again! I've been busy with school and I'm almost done! Helmet cam videos coming soon! | |

| i find this odd, well the story is when i bought my bike i went through it the first week and so on, and i found things i didn't know what they were, so i would keep them in there place ect. anyways there was this random tube coming out of the left side on my bike i never new what it was till today. i really needed to lower the idle on on my bike since i got it. the bike idled at the ridiculous range of 5000 rpms to 6000rpms NOT GOOD anyways i found it was the idle adjustment, that tube thing it i wa talking about! it was just extended so you don't have to reach up in the carbs finally its idle is normal at around 1500 rpms yeah! sounds a whole lot better too!!! stupid but funny. | |

| Well speaking of odd things. I was out on a ride today before the rain, and saw a 90's CBR 600 all black with green rim tape and a "custom" fairing and bare sides. The guy was waring a Apine stars camo jaket and a black helmet. I thought for sure it was cbr-rider. so i pulled up next to him and slapped him on the shoulder.... it wasn't him. Is some one out there copying cbr-rider | |

| Psh I WISH I could buy a Ducati. Yeah I need some bee repellent. When I went on that charity ride yesterday actually there were a bunch of bees on my bike lol. Along with like a billion gnats and stuff. Dude Ducati's are EXPENSIVE that's for sure. Not just to buy but to maintain as well. | |

| haha don't think i didn't forget about your high speed runs video! " its a bee"......yeah man you got a weird problem!...you should spray some bee repellent over your bike and yourself every mourning! just kidding...i also know what could stop your haunting off 748's......BUY ONE! no really that would be cool! oh and good page idea! i love the tri color 1098 and always loved the 996's and 748's minus the 748's popular yellow color...blahh they do look unconfortable though. yeah the testa stretta version is cool with the tri color design ( italian colors )...momma mia!....the only thing setting me off is that like $15,000 price tag on a used one! then again thats the same as most new bikes nowadays. im not sure though but i now im close i have seen them for sale. | |

| So I got a bee up in my grill. I was riding around Saturday because I was hecca bored and EVERY SINGLE FRIEND I have was either out of town or busy doing something, including my girlfriend. Man Saturday was hecca boring. Anyways yeah I rode around and when I stopped I realized there was a bee stuck in the vent on top of my helmet. It was dead of course. I thought it was funny. Didn't I mention to you guys before how bees are attracted to my bike? | |

| So I'm starting this thread for postings about weird things that have happened to you or you've noticed in relation to motorcycling. Allow me to start off... I'm being haunted by Ducati 748's! The first one I saw was this one... It was in Claswson's motorsports in Fresno, CA. I've never seen a Ducati in there before. Anyways I sat on it and stuff and of course it was uncomfortable like all Ducatis but I don't care. I wanted to start it cause it had gas in it but the salesman was busy Anyways that's the first 748 I've seen in person and I liked it a lot. So the week goes on and the very next day I saw one in Merced at a food court! Same exact thing as this bike (paint scheme, etc). I thought that was a little odd seeing how I've never seen one in person then I see them two days in a row, but I didn't think that much of it. So then SATURDAY I saw ANOTHER ONE!!! This one was at Starbucks in Madera. I've never seen a ducati in Madera in general, and it was odd that it was the same exact bike I saw twice that week. This one was (can you guess) red with a white tail that had green on it. It was the Testa Stretta version, whatever that means. Some suped up one I guess. Anyways so yeah now I have officially drawn the conclusion that I'm being haunted by Ducati 748's. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw some more this week! | |
