Lol yeah I bought my bike off Craigslist from a motorcycle cop for only $1000! How much did you pay for yours and where/when did you get it?

weird i bought mine of there too, the bike ran great and needed nothing to be street ready! lucky me i picked it up before it was going to be turned into a stunt bike i paid $1500 not bad? my bike also came with most fairings but no bolts and clamps to make them work again Razz

so i made my own bodie styling for now, when winters over i'll get some pics off her with them on

Yeah that's a good price man. I didn't need to do anything to my engine either! Good ol Honda man. Except one of the motor mount bolts was missing and the dude was riding like that??? Retarded. Yeah mine came with all my fairings and stuff too. Hey I haven't asked this yet but how many miles does your bike have on it? I bought mine with 20k, and now it has like 25k.

hey yeah i bought my bike with 14500 miles on it it now has 15000 miles not nearly enough ! this year im looking to ride alot! not that, thats a good thing? haha

WTF?? $1500???? Are you joking? We are talking about a Honda CBR600 right? One of those with 14,500 miles here would probably go for $5000. I bought my dual sport for $1400. Now I feel ripped off for some strange reason.

what he didn't say was that it was dumped on the track and he had to put a bunch of time (money?) into making it look nice again.

That is nothing my Dad and i found a honda cb500 for sale down the street for $350. We pulled the fairing off and sold it for $400 cash.

Bikes can be found for dirt cheap.

no it wasn't but you did have to put some time into it. And had you not had to do that work then the bike would be worth the full $2800 or so. don't you think?

yeah..im sure i could sell it for more, like i always do, ha that reminds me i bought the nighthawk for $830 and sold it for $1300 i only spent 20 dollars for signals, and 50 for the bars that didn't work! Razz

im sure if i waited some guy would have bought that pit bike for what i payed to. i only got 200 less for what i payed for that, not bad.
