Okay so the ride ended up being me and no other members cause thechamp2987 was having a HANGOVER freakin lame Anyways the ride ended up being great tho. There were four bikes total, including one of each major manufacturer which I thought was funny; A 2009 GSX-R 600, an R6, a ZX6R, and of course my bike, the 94 CBR F2. We also had a trailing car that followed us but it's not really worth mentioning. We went up through Raymond Road all the way up to Oakhurst and back down through Coarsegold. Me and the R6 were RIPPING through the twisties on Raymond Road...MAN THAT WAS GREAT! That is the first time I've rode with someone that is at about my skill level on taking the curves. He had a lot of balls, so to speak, so of course I had to match his speed. That was the fastest I've ever taken the twisties too and it was great. I was proud that my old bike was able to keep up easily with a new R6. One other noteworthy event was that while we never officially raced, the gixxer and I did both gun it and run through the first three gears...and my bike kept even with the guy! The gixxer has a power commander and a full two brothers exhaust and who knows what else too...so yep go HONDA!

As a side note to all your forum members, we can use the forum pages created by using the calendar to both describe upcoming rides so people can enter them and also to talk about them after the occur! Anyone planning a ride should send me a PM so I can post it to the calendar, since non-admins cannot post on it. Just be sure to include date, time, meeting location, and members (and non-members) attending. And if anyone wants to join the ride, send me a PM and I'll post your name on it as well.
