| Bike: 1994 CBR 600F2
My mods are as follows:
Yoshimura RS-3 Stainless slip on muffler (sounds great) Custom rear peg mounts Polished slip ons, triple tree, and slip on mounts CBR grips Red anodized brake/clutch levers Dunlop Qualifier tires-front and rear (don't know if that counts as a mod but oh well) Small carbon fiber-look rear view mirrors Custom paint job (see my pictures in other forum posts) Custom seat cover Tinted wind screen K&N Air filter Polished tank lid (and many other parts I polished but don't remember)
That's it for now. Next time it's warm enough to go into my garage I'll check for more I haven't listed. | |

| Sweet man! Did that just come in sheets and you cut it out and sanded it or what? Also, how much did you pay? I can find tons of uses for carbon fiber on my bike. | |

| you can go to places on the web were they sell carbon fiber sheeting and you can get as much as 50 by 100 inches of resiened carbon veneer or just plain carbon fiber sheets so you can mold things yourself ( cheaper that way ) . so what i did was just got a 11x11 in veneer carbon fiber its the second thinnest they sell at 0.5. it was pricey at about 30.00 including shiping but it was worth it! , the kind i got was pretty flexable at about an inch or so then it can not bend, so pretty much what i did was copied the shape and jotted down the mesurements of the clamp and cylinder cover cut it out with a dremel and yup did some sanding, the pictures shown do not do justice of what they look like on the bike!! i'll try to get a pic today so check back soon! | |

| Man your bike looks a lot different than mine in the rear peg area. Take a look at my rear peg brackets. Those are the ones that came on my bike (well I painted them and cut em up a little). Weird huh? Mine's a 94...Anyways man your bike is so clean!!! I wish my bike was that clean. It has some burnt oil on the engine that can't be removed easily...so yeah props on your bike cleanliness man! Your bike looks great with all the mods you've done wow. | |

| haha thanks alot for the complements yeah i think you might have had after market brackets ( cooler ones ) put on mine were stock. and as far as the bikes look, it is way better than it was there were oil stains and other stuff to but i pretty much painted over them with rustolium aluminum paint, it was hard to find cause even OUR home depot didn't have it any more? so believe it or not i went to walmart and got it! it took me a long time cause i hand painted it! not with spray paint or a air brush just with a art brush..lucky me i have painted my dads bike before and if you do it right it looks pretty good. theres a way you do it so it fades and doesn't have any lines from the brush. don't know what you call it but it works fine! | |

| wow nice mods!! i also have a carbon exhaust system made by kerker but its just the slip on though, and thats sweet that you modded the bike with quality parts! i would really like to get a corbin seat but i can't afford one i know you have seen what cbr's look like but they look so much better with corbins, cause they follow the bikes curves rather then the stock seat does! | |

| Yeah I wanted to get a corbin seat too but after I saw how much they cost I was like ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nevermind. So I just got a new cover for my stock seat and re-covered it myself. I'm happy with it. However, my butt starts hurting on long rides which sucks. Yeah we took some good pictures of David's bike but when we tried to post 'em last night the server for the pictures wasn't working. I'll talk to David and see if he just wants me to post them for him. | |

| yeah i kinda got pissed about the corbin seat but then again you can just restuff the stock seat how you like it. and as far as the pictures go i just upload them onto photobucket or fro flicker or something i never use the img thing but yeah, waht ever works i guess. | |

| ok.... there has been to many videos of moded pipes , straight pipes, removed baffle ect, that i've seen, today i decided i would take out some baffle on the kerker slip on, lets just say i took out a lot! about 85% to 90% and im pretty sure its gonna sound good, "loud pipes save lives" as some one told me on you tube....anyways im pretty sure i will be quite satisfied, but iits not just the loudness, its that really low rumble the kerker makes. i'll get a video of it soon when i get a new camera! | |

| The only thing you gotta worry about is that mufflers are designed in a very specific way to get a specific sound. If you take the baffle out, it won't only make it louder, but it will change the sound too! So beware! | |
